Knitted Robin Christmas Decoration

Robins have been associated with Christmas since Victorian times, when the tradition of sending Christmas cards started. The Royal Mail postmen who delivered the Xmas cards wore bright red uniforms and they earned the nickname 'Robin' or 'redbreast'. Artists illustrated cards with pictures of postboxes or postmen but over time, they started to draw robins instead of postmen. Since then, we have associated Xmas with robins. We are therefore delighted to introduce our knitted robin Christmas tree decoration, part of our extensive range of knitted Xmas tree decorations. The robin’s body is a warm, earthy brown, while its breast is a traditional festive red, capturing the essence of this beloved winter bird and it has a sweet and friendly expression. Perfect for hanging on your tree or adding to a wreath, this knitted robin is a delightful way to celebrate the season and bring a bit of nature indoors. Please note that this is a decoration and not a toy and is therefore not suitable for children under 3 years.
