We call the producer who makes our natural rubber, My First Dinosaurs and Toys The First because they were the first people we worked with to make toys other than soft toys.
Our natural rubber dinosaurs and toys are handmade in Sri Lanka by a small, rural producer in the most beautiful of surroundings.
Where – A small, hand made facility in a rural location just outside Columbo
Who – An incredibly talented team of people. Everything is handmade from the original mold to the mixing of the natural rubber to the hand painting of details.
When – 2017
Why – We knew our dinosaur toys were popular. We wanted to see if we could develop the range but we wanted to stay in toys rather than just putting their design on to flat surfaces such as melamine or clothing.
Claim to fame in Best Years – First partner in Sri Lanka and the first time we ventured away from soft toys. Plus more recently a gorgeous baby in the office.
